Aurreko batean aipatu nizuen bezala webguneak mahaigaineko aplikazioak balira bezala exekutatzeko aukera emateko lanean ari da.

Aplikazioaren izena, URLa, erabili nahi den nabigatzailea... aukeratzea nahikoa da. Sistemaren menuan eta leiho zerrendan aplikazio arrunt bat bezala agertzen da. Nabigatzailearen profil propioan exekutatzen den leiho bat sortzen du.

Hori bai, en betarekin egindako lehen proban faltan bota dut 😜

@aldatsa Ze poza holako gauzak ikustea! Mint bide ideologikoki oso polita hartzen ai da, elkarlanian ta GAFAM errefuxatuz.

Kode irekiko arazo haundienetako bat adarkatze gehiegikeria da, aldaketak libreki in daitezkelako. Honek erabateko anabasa sortzen du erabiltzaileotan, ta kolaborazio hau oso beharrezko ta interesgarria sortatu zait!

@aldatsa
I am currently testing this feature as well. Somehow it doesn't work as I thought. Even though it is a special Firefox instance, it still allows opening new tabs etc...
I had in mind it is more isolated. It also shows me a Firefox icon instead of the favicon I picked (tested the Mastodon site as well 😃 )
You made similar experiences?

@toxision Yes, I had a similar experience. Another annoying thing is that after clicking on a link to a external website I wasn't able to go back to Mastodon. There is no back button and the alt + left arrow shortcut didn't work for me. It's a beta version, so I think that they will smooth these things in the future.

@aldatsa
Ok wow, that is strange. Because back works for me....at least with my mouse back button. So cannot repproduce that. But you are right. In the end it currently is still in Beta. We will see for a final release in the future.

@toxision I was speaking about the lack of a back button in the user interface of the app. Some mouses do have a back button but others don't.

@aldatsa
Indeed good point. To be honest, wasn't aware of that. I only tested it with disabled navigation buttons. Because otherwise I just could open the site in Firefox.

@toxision At the moment there are two options:
* No navigation bar: Simple, app like, user interface with minimize, maximize and close buttons, but no back button.
* Full Firefox like interface with URL bar, back and forward, home, bookmarks, settings, etc buttons.

I like the simple interface, but I miss the back button. I think that it's a must, else how do you go back if you don't have a physical back button in your mouse?

@aldatsa Alright, now it gets interesting.
I opened Mastodon in minimal view, no navigation buttons etc.... Navigating back works perfectly fine with either ALT+⬅️ as well as CTRL+[
However I also realized that this app doesn't make almost no sense for my current way of working 😅
(#Firefox version 80 if that matters, used in #Mate)
#webapps

@toxision Another option would be to open the external URLs in the browser instead of inside the app. That way, the simple interface maybe would be usable without a back button.
