2004. Michael Rakowitz critica la alta ocupación de suelo de los coches con una tienda-carpa con la forma de uno.

Los coches están parados más del 90 % del tiempo y ocupan gratis un espacio que es de todos.

Short rant about misconception of Mastodon

I read an article where the writer is repeatedly uneasy about how conversations on Mastodon are devoid of politics, ”as if the outside world doesn’t exist.” The idea being that the birdsite is more connected to reality?

It’s frustrating to me that anyone would portray algorithm-boosted rage as representative of the world stage, and real, human conversation as non-representative of the human condition and human desire.

The world is upside-down.

Nik aspaldi bizkotxoak borobil egiten nituen, baina duela bastante laukizuzen egiten ditut beti.
Zergatik?

Normalean nonbaitera eramateko egiten ditudalako eta bizikletako alportxan sartu ahal izateko 😅

@EU_Commission

#ChatControl is some serious crazy stuff where #EU citizens can only scratch their head and think "How could they come up with this?"

Not only that, but this #surveillance nightmare is brought on the table over and over again. It is against #European values and rights to #Privacy. It erodes #trust with people that #EuropeanCommission is working in the collective best interest.

What's next? Camera's in our home, so we can all feel safe knowing big brother is watching over us?

Bilboko itsasadarraren ertzean hau ikusi eta hemengo traolaz gogoratu naiz. Eztakit espreski zer diren baina ederrak zeuden ba.

Today the European Commission will publish a proposal for a new law which will make the interception, analysis and monitoring of *ALL* digital communications (messengers, forums, direct messages etc.) mandatory.

Eztakit zuei, baina niri erdiko botoi hori agertu izanak poza eman dit 🙃

PixelFedeko kontu bat jarraitu dut Mastodonetik.

Nola molatzen du honek? 😅

Eztakit zer dirudit, herrikoa hirian edo hirikoa herrian 😆 😬

Bizikletak ez dira udarako bakarrik, baina ze gustora eguraldi ona egiten duenean 🙃

The curb cut effect: for example, media descriptions right here on Mastodon help people who use screen readers, but they are also useful for explaining the joke for people who don’t get it, for translations of text, and for copy-pasting what would otherwise be just an image of text.

Bakizue emailaren gauzarik txarrena?

Gmail 😒

Ingelesezko "gatekeeper" deritzon enpresen inguruan idazten ari nintzen eta euskaraz "atezain" dela konturatu naiz 😅

Hortaz Google, Apple, Amazon, Microsoft eta guzti hauek atezainak dira, ongi 🙃

So if you write an article and give image credits, you don't credit the place you found it, you credit the SOURCE.

Stealing an image, and pointing to a place that has also stolen that image isn't how it works.

If you find an image you'd like to use, you check to see if this is the original source of the image.

If it is, then see if there are any usage rights shown - and follow them.

If there aren't any, you contact the publisher and ask permission to use the image.

“Algospeak” is a new English dialect that emerged from the desperate attempts of social media users to “please the algorithm”: that is, to avoid words and phrases that cause social media platforms’ algorithms to suppress or block their communication.

#Algospeak is practiced by all types of social media users, from individuals addressing their friends to science communicators and activists hoping to reach a broader public. But the most ardent practitioners of algospeak are social media creators, who rely—directly or indirectly—on social media to earn a living.
